Raw & Slabbed is run by one person, so these are written the way one person would explain them across a table. They are meant to be read, not survived. If anything here is unclear, email westtexassportscards@gmail.com and ask — that is a real inbox and I answer it.
Raw & Slabbed is the app. It is made and run by William Justin Willmon, trading as WTX Sports Cards, a sole proprietorship based in Midland, Texas, USA — the same business behind the card table. In these terms “we”, “us” and “I” mean that business, and “you” means the person who bought or uses the app.
Payment is taken by Stripe. On your card statement the charge may appear as RAWANDSLABBED, WTX SPORTS CARDS, or with a LINK.COM prefix if you paid through Link — all three are this same business. If you see a charge you do not recognize, email me before disputing it and I will tell you exactly what it was.
A single account on the Raw & Slabbed web app. The account lets you save your collection so it is backed up and follows you between devices. There are two ways to pay for it, and they buy exactly the same app:
Prices are in US dollars. If you are outside the United States, Stripe may show and charge the price in your own currency at its own rate.
You can cancel at any time, and you never have to ask me to do it. Payment is handled by Stripe, and Stripe's Link is the merchant of record for the sale, so cancelling happens there:
Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not refund the month you are already in. You keep the account until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it stops renewing after that.
If your card is declined, Stripe retries for about two weeks and emails you. During that time the account carries on working normally. If it is never paid, the account stops saving new changes to the cloud.
It never stops showing you your own cards. This is deliberate and it is built into the database rather than left to good intentions: reading and exporting your collection are not gated on payment and never have been. A lapsed, canceled or refunded account can still open the app, see everything in it, and export the whole collection to a file. I am selling you a tool, not holding your inventory to make you pay for it.
The app itself does the pricing work: it turns the values in your own export into an ask price, a walk-away floor, a haggle ladder, an eBay list price and an estimate of what you keep after fees.
This matters more than anything else on this page, so it is said plainly:
The full app is free to use on demo cards without paying anything and without an account. Press Look around the sample first at the sign-in screen, or Try the demo on the front page. Everything works: scanning, the ladder, marking cards sold, the lot. What the payment buys is the account — loading your own collection and having it saved. Please use the demo before you buy, because of the refund policy below.
The collection you load stays yours. I claim no ownership of it, do not sell it, do not share it, and do not use it to build anything. You can export the whole thing to a file at any time from inside the app, and you should — an export you hold is the backup no service can take away from you.
The app is provided as it is. I do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults, and it depends on services I do not run (Supabase, Netlify, Stripe). I will not deliberately break it, and I fix what I can.
On the $199 plan, “never expires” means the life of the service, not of the buyer — every software company means this and few say it, so here it is said. If I ever stop running Raw & Slabbed, I will give at least 60 days' notice by email to the address on your account, and the export will keep working for the whole of that period so you can take your collection with you. If you are on the monthly plan when that happens, I will stop charging you from the date of the notice. The app also runs offline from a single file, so a copy you have saved keeps working regardless.
I may change the app, and I may change these terms — if a change materially affects you, I will email the address on your account.
The list price may change at any time. If I ever raise the price of a monthly plan you are already on, I will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you have a full billing period to cancel if you do not want it. A price rise never applies to a payment already taken, and it never applies at all to the $199 plan — that one is paid and done.
To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything arising out of the app or these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid in the twelve months before the claim, plus tax. I am not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or for a price you asked, accepted or refused. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
Some places do not allow the exclusions above, so parts of them may not apply to you. Where that is the case, the rest still stands.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and the courts of Midland County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction — except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court, which for a product at this price is usually the sensible venue anyway.
As a rule, Raw & Slabbed is sold without refunds. Access is delivered immediately and in full, so there is nothing to return. Please use the free demo before buying — it is the whole app, and it exists so that nobody has to pay to find out whether they like it.
On the monthly plan, cancelling is the remedy, not a refund. You are never locked in: cancel and the next charge does not happen. I do not refund a month that has already run, because you had the app for it.
Because Stripe's Link is the merchant of record for this sale, Link's own support can issue a refund within 60 days of a payment, on its own judgement, whether or not I agree. So the paragraph above is my policy, not a promise about what Stripe will do. I would still rather you came to me first — I answer faster and I can usually fix the actual problem.
The rule above is about changing your mind. It is not a shield for things going wrong at my end. Email westtexassportscards@gmail.com and I will refund you in full, promptly, if:
If your invite email has not arrived, check your spam folder first — the sending domain is new and that is where it sometimes lands. You can also use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen at any time, which sends a fresh link to the address you paid with.
Please email me first. A chargeback costs me the payment, a fee on top of it, and a mark against my payment account — and it takes weeks, whereas I usually answer the same day. If something is wrong, I would far rather just fix it.
There is no analytics on this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no cookies for tracking, and nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing. That is not a promise about the future — it is a description of the code, which you can check by viewing the page source.
That is the whole list. There is no profile, no behavioural record and no attempt to work out who you are beyond the email you signed up with.
Running a service means using other people's infrastructure. These are all of them:
I do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for any purpose. I would only ever hand over data if I were legally required to.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your data. Email me and I will honor them.
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed and never seen, and the database refuses to return one account's rows to another account. No system is perfectly secure, and I will not pretend otherwise. If your data is ever exposed in a breach, I will email you and tell you what happened.
This is a tool for people running a card business and it is not directed at children. Please do not create an account if you are under 13. If you are under 18, get a parent or guardian to agree to these terms first.
If it changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and I email the address on your account. I will not quietly start collecting something new.
